 Part 1:

The Metaverse

1. The topic was well covered, I've definitely learned more about the metaverse than from what I was previously aware of.

2. Presentation was clear.

3. Quality of research seems to be well done, there was a lot of information regarding what the metaverse is and it's use cases.

4. Quality of the video production could of been better, it was more like a power point presentation versus a video.

5. The video is interesting, specifically going over the use cases.

6. Team work isn't too evident as there's only two members in the group and only one speaker in the video. Maybe it was split up in terms of research and presentation.

7. For the technology professionals, it was appropriate and went over some technical aspects that helped clarify and summarized what the Metaverse is and what it's capable of in the future.


Solutions Quantum Computing

1. Topic is decently well covered, it was more about the history of Quantum Computing but given it's complexity, I feel that covering a lot of it's history was necessary to give viewers a better understanding.

2. Presentation was clear.

3. Quality of research was evident, though hard to understand due to it's complexity.

4. Quality of the video production could of been better and more engaging showing video examples of quantum computing in action.

5. It was more informative than engaging.

6. Team work is evident, everyone seemed to have a part in the presentation.

7. Video is definitely appropriate to the technology professionals.


Preventing Cyber Attacks with the use of AI

1. Topic was well covered and informative.

2. Presentation was clear.

3. Quality of the research is definitely there, showing examples of cyber attacks, how AI can be integrated to help prevent it, etc.

4. Quality of the video production was very good, I liked this one a lot.

5. Video is definitely engaging and interesting, specifically on how AI Prevents Threats.

6. Team work is evident, everyone seemed to have their own part and covered their own topics.

7. Video is appropriate to technology professionals, it demonstrates effectively how AI integration in cyber security is.


Part 2:

Deepfakes Explained: The Dark Side of AI

In this class, I got to learn the importance of knowing how each of my team mates are and how we differ which really helped how we collaborated on group projects. My team has mostly communicated and collaborated through discord which was very effective. I think in order to make the collaboration process more effective next time, we should schedule meetings on a weekly basis rather than a set basis to account for random events that may occur.

CST300 Module 1 January 8th - January 14th

This week's module covered a couple of topic.  The first topic was a brief history into CSU Monterey Bay and how it was founded in 1994 on the site of the decommissioned Fort Ord, a former army base located in Monterey Peninsula in California. The campus had it's first day of class in August 28, 1995 where President Bill Clinton paid a visit during the opening ceremony. There was also a quiz associated with this lecture where I got a 4/5, the question I missed being "Who is the SCD Information Technology Consultant" which I wasn't able to find out based on the material that was given. I originally assumed it was Kayla Rolicheck as she has been our main contact/consultant on our online program. My approach to trying to figure out who was the Information Technology Consultant was to go through their email signature to see if they had their title in their signature. CST Module 3 January 22nd - January 28th

Part 1 From week 2 of my journal, I mentioned that I am my best when I stick to a schedule but find sticking to a schedule difficult due to unforeseen events that may show up. Acknowledging my weakness, for week 3 of the learning journal post I went over the Time Management Tips and read over the contents. I found that trying to be a perfectionist has set me up for failure when trying to follow a set schedule I set for myself for studying as things tend to come up. Being able to say NO to those things is important as I also need to learn what I need to prioritize. Going through the Time Management Tips contents, I believe that I'll be able to manage my time more effectively as this becomes a habit.
