Part One: For my team's Final Research Video Project, we planned everything through discord. It was an effective communication tool as we all primarily use discord for communication anyways. The process was smooth as I had team mates who were very capable, they created an outline, talking points, assigned people specific tasks to avoid confusion. For the next time I'm working on another large collaborate projects, I would like to be more urgent so if there's anything that needs to be addressed from my portion or other team members portion, we can address it before the due date. Part Two: How AI can help you turn an idea into the next great app Amjad Masad is the CEO of Relit, an online software creation platform and community that i've personally used in class to create programs and submit assignment in. Amjad talks about how you can turn your idea into the next great app via AI.      This is probably one of the best video i've come across with on the internet regar...

CST Module 6 February 12th - February 18th

Part 1 My team briefly discussed a couple of capstone project ideas. Multimedia Recipe App : An application that enhances traditional recipe sharing by allowing users to attach audio and video inputs to each recipe. This feature is particularly useful for recipes passed down through generations where precise measurements are often approximated, enabling clearer visualization of ingredient quantities. Family Tracking App : A project inspired by Life360 that uses GPS and Google Maps API to monitor the locations of family members. It would include additional niche features to improve family safety and connectivity. Health & Appointment App : A health-focused application that offers appointment reminders and provides educational information on the importance of regular check-ups and common diseases. It also incorporates a built-in translation tool to help non-native English speakers communicate effectively with healthcare professionals. Part 2 This week's module went over the writi...

CST Module 5 February 5th - February 11th

Interview For this week, I interviewed one of my coworker Jhon Aclan  who works with me at Keasy. Jhon Aclan is a recent computer science graduate at SFSU (San Francisco State University). He acquired his bachelor in Computer Science in Spring of 2024 with a minor in Mathematics. A majority of his past work experience is in the IT field providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for internal users. He recently landed a job at MX2 Technology as a Senior Executive Service Desktop Support while also working remotely at Keasy as a software engineer. I chose Jhon because his career path is something that I believe most software engineers will go through.  When asked about his career path, in Jhon's personal opinion, it's hard to get an entry level programming job so we have to get our foot into the door either through a similar industry where those career either exists within your work place in hopes that you can eventually move to that position after proving your technical, com...

CST Module 4 January 29th - February 4th

Part One: Set Your Educational Goals My educational goal is to acquire my bachelors degree. In order to achieve this goal I just need to keep doing what i'm doing, reading the materials and turning in my work before their due dates. I feel confident that as long as I am able to keep this up, once we reach the programming aspect of this CS program, this goal is within reach. Part Two: Set Your Career Goals My career goal is to eventually to lead software development. One of my prior short term career goal was to work as a full stack software engineer which I have been fortunate enough to have started doing on January of 2025. From here I plan to build the necessary skill to develop a program from the ground up and learn the necessary project management skills to lead a team. Part Three: Take a wild guess of your percentile of the ETS Computer Science test After looking at the ETS Computer Science test, I realized that although I know most of the concepts I still did pretty bad on th...
